Founded in 1974 by Richard Alia, our company has proudly served Western Washington State for over 50 years. After learning the trade at his father’s company, O.R. Alia Construction, Rick set out to build something of his own—rooted in hard work, integrity, and a deep respect for quality civil construction. Today, the company remains family-owned and operated by Rick’s son Vito, with Rick’s other children actively involved in day-to-day operations.

R.L. Alia Company specializes in heavy civil construction, underground utilities, vaults, pump stations and concrete flatwork across Western Washington. Our close-knit, multi-generational team of problem solvers is known for its dedication, craftsmanship, and long-term commitment—many of our crew members have built lifelong careers here. Guided by the principles of safety, integrity, and efficiency, we take pride in delivering high-quality work that stands the test of time.
